CCD stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and refers to the Church’s program to educate children of the parish who are unable to attend Catholic Schools. These classes for kindergarten through eighth grade teach the basics of the Catholic faith and life of Christ. These classes can never take the place of the teaching of the faith by the parents.

August 1, 2021:  It is time once again to start a new school year. We know we speak for our catechists and priests when we say we are all looking forward to a new year of CCD.  We are excited to announce that we will kick off the CCD year with Mass at St. Wenceslaus Church on August 25, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. After Mass, we have prepackaged frozen treats for all attending.   Classes are from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. this year, with the first class beginning Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Wenceslaus School.  If you are interested in registering your child, helping with the CCD program or have any questions, contact Ann or Josey.

Important Information

Second Grade families, it’s a special year for you with First Confession and First Communion. Mrs. Dailey will be teaching and telling you everything you need to know.

It is also a special year for our  6^th graders as they will receive their Confirmation this year.

You will find the registration form for the year and the CCD Calendar. Registration fees will be $55.00 which includes a $15.00 Religious Education Fee from the Diocese of Lincoln. Registrations can be returned to the parish office or can be placed in a separate envelope and placed in the collection during Sunday Mass.

The first day of classes will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Wenceslaus School. Opening Mass for the year will be at Wednesday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. All families are invited to join us.
