Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW)
Women of the parish are automatically a member of the PCCW. Being a member gives you the opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of other ladies, grow in your faith, and build up the body of Christ in His Church.
Our mission is to “…perform the spiritual and corporal works of mercy with special emphasis on hospitality in the service of God and the benefit of His Church.” We do this with the guidance of the Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (LDCCW), under the direction of the Pastor.
We accomplish this mission in easy and practical ways:
- Providing and serving coffee and rolls after Mass on the first Sunday of the month
- Assisting in the Conformation Retreat Brunch
- Dinners for priests as needed
- A bake sale in December to benefit local mission work
- Provide and serve desserts for the Lenten Fish Frys
- Give gifts to seminarians and the religious
- And other projects
Dues: $5 per year
Meetings: Each quarter there is a business meeting followed by a time of fellowship. We do our best to keep the business to a minimum and the fellowship to the maximum. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other ladies of the parish and come together to build up our church, our faith, and our friendships.
